Founded in 1905, Suzuki Shokan has specialized in high pressure gases and related equipment and in 1970, entered into the cryogenics industry field with the development of helium gas applications. The first such project for Suzuki Shokan was to maintain a space communications base. In the beginning days of the semiconductor industry, the company had been a recognized leader known as Suzuki Shokan Cryopumps for the technology we had developed. For ten years the company concentrated on performing the best service for imported products while the company strove to fin**deal system with cryopumps. The Cryopump Torr-Kun by Suzuki Shokan achieved excellent recognition in the market for the success it had in drastically increasing the reliability of the cryopump. Prior to its competitors, the company developed new features such as multi-pump operation with a large compressor or a low vibration type refrigerator succeeded by an improved drive motor. Since Suzuki Shokan estabished its own brand name ten years ago with the intention of providing highly reliable products, we now introduce the new international name of SPACETORR for our updated version so as to continue to serve our customers evolving needs.
